It's the same thing for you and me both - trying to get through a workday with a healthy dose of KQ 94.5! Everyone needs a laugh. Everyone needs to hum along. Maybe shake a little sassafras!
A few goosebumps and a little tear. Now, that's the good stuff.
And we know it's what you came here for.
Welcome to the family!

Remember all the positive energy you used sandbagging? Get your rubber boots back out and patched, some good rubber work gloves, a respirator, a tetanus booster and board a bus. Call your church or any of the city or county information lines to find out how to head to Minot for a day of recovery. There will be people needing help here in Bismarck/Mandan soon enough, but Minot is desperately in need of volunteers now. Spend a day helping a stranger if you don't already know someone.
Spent the weekend in Minneapolis with the family doing our usual - a Twins game, Mall of America, Albertville, Traffic, Traffic, Traffic. Yikes! I really am a hick. Why would I care to spend an hour in a car going 10 miles when I can count on a mile a minute (sometimes) getting most anywhere I want in Bis/Man! Back to business here at KQ today with more IHeart Radio Festival passes and everything else. AND great musical medicine that makes you forget all about the traffic!
Remember all those sandbags you filled and placed. Well, soon those protective measures won't be needed. And with luck lots of folks will be going home. Be sure to engage as much energy into the post flood efforts as we did at the beginning of the event. Get a tetanus shot if you haven't had one in the last 10 years. Go rubber boot shopping. Offer your assistance to someone who will be beginning the long process of recovery. Until then, please keep the sandbags where you placed them. The officials don't want us jumping the gun. There's still many cfs to come.
