Made my way around the country from the twincities to Mississipi back up to Fargo where I was the last 7 years until May when I knew it was time to come back home to the beautiful capital city!
I love different types of music but my main preference is rock & country. How could I not love country music? I grew up listening to Marty Robbins & Willie Nelson thanks to mom & dad!
KQ 94.5 is so proud to help promote Tigirlily!! These talented Hazen, ND natives have a bright future! Listen for their new single, "North Dakota" to play on KQ & buy it today on itunes!!
After months of talking about and gearing up for it...the ND State Fair is finally here!! Now don't get me wrong...the lights of the rides, spending endless $ on games to try and win a $2 stuffed animal and the energy behind the shows in the Grand Stand is definitely something I look forward to...but the real excitement for me, comes with all the fair food! Yum!! The footlong corn dogs, funnel cakes, indian tacos, mini donuts, cheese curds...oh man...I've been running my butt off on the treadmill just to make room in my waitband for growth from all the food:) Another exciting thing is all the great country acts hitting the stage this year with Tim McGraw kicking things off tonight! Hope to see you all there and if you'd like to see a list of todays events at the ND State Fair...click here!

Tigirlily stopped by to hop on the air with me last Friday on their way to Fargo to open for Thompson Square. While they were here, they performed their new single, "Take it Slow". Check out the performance by clicking the link above!
Brad Paisley had a surprise guest sit in for drummer Ben Sesar mid-show Saturday night in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania! After "Waitin' On A Woman," Brad jokingly complained that Ben was not playing correctly, replacing him with six-year-old drumming child prodigy Avery Molek for Van Halen’s “Hot For Teacher.”
This isn’t the first time the two have collaborated. The pair covered the VH hit on ABC’s Good Morning America back in April.

Miranda Lambert sang her hit, “The House That Built Me,” live from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, and broadcast live on NBC. At one point during the song, Miranda had to take a moment away from the microphone to regain her composure.
